Mars’s signature bar.
I’m not keen on Mars bars. Well, not in their default “chocolate bar” state. They are too similar to Milky Ways, another chocolate bar I don’t particularly like.
I like chocolate and I like caramel, so technically I like 66% of the ingredients, but I prefer bars that have some form of crunch or bite to them, and the Mars is entirely chew. And more chew.
It is boring.
In a way its also a bit like a Boost, in that I didn’t enjoy that either.
However I know from experience that, although I don’t like it in its default form, I do quite like them if you leave them in the fridge for a few hours and slice them into 1cm think slices. Proper deeee-lish!
As I didn’t have the foresight to do this with the bar above, I’ve eaten it in the form in which I don’t like it. Sorry Mars!

Mars,
Boost were a dreadful invention.
Maybe you should try a battered mars bar (chip shop batter, I mean) – that would be an experience for you.
I’d like to try that!
I LOVE Mars Bars.. however they are the KINGS of calories!
When I was in school, I was called MarsBar coz my surname Maher is pronounced “Mar” #fact!
I like your #fact!
Ooooo, haven’t had a mars bar for what might well be YEARS! I love em :o) The ice-cream versions are good too, are you including them in your project??
After I’ve finished chocolate my plan is to move onto sweets, then crisps, as to my mind they are all “treats.”
I hadn’t considered ice cream, but I am now…
Man… I like Mars Bars AND Milky Ways, and Boost is probably my favourite of all the treats! It’s all about the caramel for me though, I can totally understand the need for a bit of crunch.
Its….. just goo. To me, the Twix will always be the ultimate, as it combines all the best bits.
